….i just need some one piece up in here for a minute and im out of shape right now

new/ish followers, essential knowledge about me/my blog:

this is old stuff but realized i had scanned this in huge and i wanted to pull a few things out that i liked bigger - and to feel like it wasn’t totally just reposting i changed the color just a lil bit

ahh ok some timing stuff is still bugging me but I think I finally got this out of my system for now. I wish I had time to just keep him going forever, goddammit but rubber guys are fun as hell to draw..

luffy therapy

Warmups; getting the hang of my 108 sketch nib. Much trickier than the 107 or the g-pen.

Drawing Luffy makes me want to be an animator so bad. I feel like in the right hands he could have the best animations everbut as much as I love the show the animation isn’t so great. They sort of get close sometimes, but in my head there’s this amazing ideal.. I mean he’s just this insane rubber thing coming at you and not stopping! Guh regrets

Most of the Namis were born of an urge to draw cute girls in booty shorts, inspired by Rudeezy and Brandon Graham and booties in general, and I always thought her Thriller Bark outfit was cute as hell (though I forgot she was wearing boots).

haven’t made anything quality in at least a month.. 

the worrisome thing is I don’t even want to draw anymore, I just want to marathon water 7 + ennies lobby 

Still one of my all time favorite OP moments. The first time I saw this part my jaw literally dropped – and then quick the next couple of shots are of bystanders with their jaws dropped and I just loved it, haha
